I have made it to Bodenseehof. The journey was a bit more rough than expected but I managed to find someone to help me every step of the way. I got a good night's sleep last night in Hotel Goldener Hirsch, and this morning I got to school.
Although I have only seen Friedrichshafen through the window of an auto, I think I already love it here. There are trees everywhere and it is beautiful. The lake, which I onlz (I realize this is spelled incorrectly but on German keyboards the z and the y key are switched around and I still haven't gotten used to it!) caught a glimpse of, is huge and glorious.
Well, this is all for now, I will share more about about my crazy journey later.

Kate,
I'm so glad that you made it safely.
I'm slugging my smoothie and coffee, heading out the door to work in the hot Wisconsin sun.
I love you.

HI Kate!
Glad you made it. I'm so excited to hear about more of your adventures. I bet it is beautiful there, and you are going to fit in so well. (not too hot, right?) Post pictures when you get a chance. From my end, I went to a new church today, recommended by Matt Metzger, and it was on the University of North Florida Campus. It was REALLY good. A great message. I'm excited to find out about what you learn in school! Take Care. Love you!
