(This post should be before the last, but I don't know how to put it there, so this actually happened before I even went to Austria)
Anyway, the day after we all returned from out week long outreach trips (which was good but challenging, the teaching part of it went smoothly but I did conclude definitely that I will never be a teacher) we were treated to a Thanksgiving dinner. They averaged the dates of Canadian, American, and German (although technically they don't celebrate it) Thanksgivings and came up with a random date. That is not important. The point is that after we had all been away for a week we got to come back, get dressed up, eat some delicious food, and catch up with one another.
This first picture of is of me eating miniature apples that were part of the center pieces. They were rumored to be poisonous but I turned out fine. Then after eating copious amounts of Turkey we all passed out from the tryptophan. Actually I did not eat the turkey because I have yet to do an indepth study of the German meat packing industry so I am still not eating meat. Next, is me and my friends Bincy (short for Bianca, she is on the left) and Becky (one of two Becky Funks at Bodenseehof). Lastly, is me with Stefanie (who I will be spending Christmas with, she is on the left) and the other Rebekah Funk.
