We did have snow but it all melted...sad, but we are supposed to get more soon, but if I have learned one thing during my time here, it is: not to trust German meteorologists!
Although it doesn't look much like Christmas here, it is starting to feel like it. Last night we went out Christmas carolling with our K-groups. We split up and covered our whole area. We sang a song for each person who would listen (we did get a significant number of doors slammed in our faces) and then we gave them an invitation to our Christmas concert, called Advent International which is coming up this Saturday, and a package of cookies that the students assembled. The concert is put on by the students and our director will also be giving a short message. It should be pretty fun. The entire student body is making up a choir so I will be participating in that.
Also, tomorrow night, Wednesday, the entire student body is going into Freids. to the Christmas market and we have an hour slot on a stage in the city center to perform Christmas songs.
Our Christmas break is just around the corner, it begins on December 20, and with all of these events going on the time is just flying. Next week we are taking a trip to Stuttgart to go to the huge Christmas market that they facilitate every year...so, the Christmas spirit is alive and well here at Bodenseehof.
Other than that not much is new. Our lectures this week are on Romans which is a nice change of pace because we have been learning and reading a lot out of the Old Testament.
Well, I hope all is well with all of you!
